Is Planet Antares Inc. Heading Another Vending Scam Under??? Here is our findings:
Planet Antares Inc., known for its infamous One Million Dollar penalty by FTC for wrongly promoting its products and falsely showing potential in vending business has adopted another method of misleading people. Looks like they have recently hired a Phoenix based web Promotions Company for again falsely countering information on the web and misleading people to think of Planet Antares Inc., as one of the “Greatest Opportunity Of All Times”. We recently found out that, in last couple of months “Someone” registered a lot of domain names with “Planet Antares Scam” keywords. All the domain names were registered as Private Registration so that no one can view who has registered the domain name and can know who is actually promoting those. On finding more about it, we can see that some of the domains like PlanetAntaresScamSolutions.com is registered by Mr. Dana Bashor (with email id of chris.hooley@gmail.com and phone number +1.6236809173). Mr. Dana Bashor is president of Planet Antares Inc., but why is he using email id chris.hooley@gmail.com or who is Chris Hooley? Thanks to Google.com, we found out that Chris Hooley is owner of MCPMedia.com a company engaged in promoting content on the web. So it means Mr. Dana Bashor (Owner Of Planet Antares Inc.) has hired MCP Media to fill out the web space with fake positive reviews so that users cannot see the genuine ones??
Our curiosity reached its peak, Is Dana Bashor involved in another “Mother Of All Scams”? If Mr. Chris was a little more cautious while registering domain names, we would have never found out the “secret” association of the two companies. We thought to do more investigation on the matter. We found out that PlanetAntaresScam.com was registered on 24th April 2010. Along with that other domain names registered were:

All under private registration so that no one knows who owns them.
Again On the 26th June 2010, following domains were registered:
- planetantaresscamsolutions.com
- planetantaressolutions.com

Why would someone want to register so many domains with “Planet Antares Scam” , “Planet Antares Complaints” and “Planet Antares” keywords in the domain name? This gives a solid reason that Mr. Dana Bashor is trying to capture the web space away from other useful websites that provides information on various vending scams and/or expose bad customer reviews that Planet Antares Inc., had over the period of time. Our doubt was further strengthened by checking Google.com for Planet Antares Scam.
Someone is really spending money on Google Paid Advertisements (Adwords) for “Planet Antares Scam” keywords for websites registered by someone unknown.
This made us curious even more about why does anyone needs to invest in advertisements for such terms? There must be some genuine reviews floating on the web that are being countered. We found the following:
- http://edumacation.com/PlanetAntares (WOW This one is great)

Now Planet Antares Inc. through maybe MCP Media is releasing Press Releases, Videos, Submitting Articles, Uploading Blogs, Writing Content, Adding Pics to target “PLANET ANTARES SCAM” on the web.
Instead of focusing on total customer satisfaction, Planet Antares Inc., is focusing on misleading people by creating false environment of positive testimonials, and manipulating the search engines and paid advertisements arena.
